Suzie Buchholz is a San Francisco Bay Area painter, sculptor and installation artist. She studied painting at Atelier du Soleil in Aix-en-Provence, France, and has a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute.
Suzie’s art has been exhibited at galleries in the US and Europe, including Robert Allen Fine Art in Sausalito, CA, Blue Mountain Gallery in New York, Galerie Ruban Vert in Aix-en-Provence, France, Colorida Art Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal, and Galerie Mani in Berlin, Germany, among others. Her kite sculptures have been featured in the Bay Area at Donna Seager Gallery, and her installation ‘Flight’ was shown at SOMArts, San Francisco. A multimedia installation ‘Pills for Parents’ was shown at Catharine Clark Gallery, San Francisco, and was part of the Zero1 Biennial.
Suzie has served as trustee and vice chair at the Oxbow School in Napa, CA and served on the Board of Directors at di Rosa Museum. Currently she is a member of the Public Art Advisory Group of the Sausalito Art Commission. She is a past President and an active member of the ICB Artists Association, and has served as an awards judge for the International Academy of Visual Artists for more than 5 years.
